Whether you are good, bad or indifferent at sport chances are you still like to look good playing it. It can be a time consuming process cleaning white trainers and walking boots too can be a chore. So why bother when you know Blue Sky is here to help. In addition to our £3 shoe shine

service completed during our weekly office visits we also offer the more time consuming process of cleaning white trainers.  This is a service we complete off-site and you will need to arrange collection and delivery times with your Blue Sky staff member but the typical service would involve allowing our staff to take your trainers to work on over the weekend since the process is far longer than the standard 10 minute shoe shine. If you have ever tried to clean your trainers yourself you will appreciate how valuable this £5 service will be. For those in need of advice as to how best to carry out the process themselves here are some

tips. (1) wipe the trainers first with a damp cloth to remove excess dirt and dust (2) after allowing 30 minutes for the trainers to dry apply first coat of whitener. (3) allow at least 60 minutes between coats to ensure each coat of whitener has dried before applying the next coat. (4) there is no hard and fast rule as to how many coats of whitener would be needed to complete the process but the obvious rule of thumb should be that the white parts of the

trainers should be gleaming white so if it takes 3 or 4 coats to make that happen then why not complete 3 or 4 coats (5) the last step is to apply the neutral polish to the trainers.  The neutral polish will bring up a nice shine that will not exist with the whitener alone. Though it is recommended to wait at least 24 hours between applying the last coat of whitener and the neutral polish. For a truly immaculate finish why not insert a new set of laces as well. Blue Sky Shoes Shines would complete the entire cleaning process for £5 though we do charge £1.50 for laces which are not included in the £5.
